Editors' Association of Canada
The EAC offers seminars and lectures on every aspect of editing every kind of text. I served as invigilator during the EAC's Beta testing of its certification exam, proofed entries to the 2003 and 2004 Directory of Editors, and served on the committee working to redesign the EAC Web site.

Glebe Authors' Group
GAG meets monthly so its members can shore up each other's flagging confidence. Each of us is working on The Great Canadian Novel / The Great Canadian Book of Poetry / The Great Canadian... you get the picture.
